Rose: A Heart for Art
Rose: A Heart for Art and Creativity at A Stroke of Genius
At A Stroke of Genius, we are thrilled to have Rose as our expert mosaic instructor. Rose brings her incredible artistic talent and passion for teaching to each class, offering a unique and fun approach to mosaic art. Her most recent class, where participants created beautiful mosaic hearts, was the perfect way to kick off the season of love. Students had the choice of decorating their hearts with shades of pink, red, and white, adding special beads and glitter to make each one a personal masterpiece. It’s hard to think of a better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by crafting such meaningful, colorful art!

She makes sure everyone receives the guidance they need while also encouraging them to make their artwork truly their own.

Though Rose began teaching mosaic classes at A Stroke of Genius in November, she has been sharing her mosaic expertise for over 10 years. With a wealth of experience, Rose has developed a style of teaching that is both supportive and empowering. One of her favorite moments in class is seeing her students get in touch with their creative side. It’s a magical experience to watch them marvel at their creations, especially when the glitter is poured over their pieces and the transformation happens right before their eyes. The excitement and admiration for one another's work is always infectious, with students exclaiming “ooo” and “ahhh” at the beauty of their finished mosaics.
When Rose isn’t teaching at A Stroke of Genius, she spends her free time crafting her own mosaic art and creating handmade, one-of-a-kind collage cards. She’s known for her distinctive sculptures called "chip-bag-girls." These unique creations feature dresses made from snack bags. Rose transforms the bags by microwaving them, causing them to shrink and crinkle, giving the dresses a magical, textured look that’s completely unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
If you want to see more of Rose’s incredible art, be sure to follow her on Instagram at @epicreation or check out her Facebook page. Her creativity and artistic vision continue to inspire, and we can’t wait for more students to experience her classes at A Stroke of Genius. Keep an eye out for future classes with Rose—there’s always something new and exciting on the horizon!
Whether you’re looking to try your hand at mosaic art or simply want to connect with a warm, passionate teacher, Rose is here to guide you through the artistic journey with a heart full of encouragement and fun.
